Wednesday 4/30/14 8 pm at The Mudlark Theatre A show that’s been ELEVEN YEARS in the making….Since 2003, my beautiful friend Ann Savoy & I have been trying to do a project together. We’ve nearly gotten it off the ground a few times but never managed it. We’re both Virginia girls who speak French & who chose life in Louisiana, & we both love to sing; Ann, however, has a lot of Grammy nominations, has worked with T-Bone Burnett & Linda Ronstadt (I just worship T-Bone Burnett & Linda Ronstadt, and also Ann) and is blithely unaware of her status as a living legend (to wit, when I asked her to do this show with me she said, ‘Okay, but I don’t think anyone knows who I am.’) Sam Craft will be backing both of us, and it’s going to be AMAZING.
